Having received set 8A Christmas Eve, I did not want to take apart the manger made from sets 4, 4A and 6A. so scanning some of the building patterns I have in my collection it was time to take a chance on building this model. Stones started to run out as I neared the top and used whatever stones I could find to finish the model. It is still quite nice and a good example of what can be made from different stones.

Don, I am so glad I found your blog. I was unaware of anker stone blocks and they look really cool.
My nearly 13 year old son desperately would love a set of these. We've only seen them in the box and it was lovely to google them and find some photos on your blog to see what you can do with them.
