Photos taken Grosse Isle NAS, Mich 1960's

Here are some early photographs of S2E and Neptunes taken at Groose Isle NAS, Michigan. The base at the time was located almost at the mouth of Lake Erie. It was closed in the 1970's as I recall and operations moved to Selfridge Base near Mt. Clemens, Michigan on Lake St. Clair.

Lets begin with one of my card models of an American tank. The model comes from ABC Magazine Special about two years ago. ABC Magazine is published in the Czech Republic and I was fortunate to be able to subscribe to it for several years. Any comments on what you see will be appreciated.
